These Terms of Use govern your use of the Aya Health website (the "Site") and the healthcare services provided by Aya Health ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing our Site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Please read these terms carefully before booking a consultation or using any part of our website. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Site or services.

2. Our Services

Aya Health provides private healthcare consultations, wellness programmes, and related health information services. Our services are delivered in person at our clinics in Ghana and the United Kingdom, and remotely via telehealth.

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and above, unless explicitly noted (such as paediatric consultations, which require a parent or guardian to engage on behalf of the minor).

The information provided on our website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. It should not be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Booking and Cancellation

Consultations must be booked in advance through our booking system, by telephone, or by email. A booking is confirmed upon receipt of confirmation from Aya Health.

Cancellation and rescheduling: we ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments in exceptional circumstances. Where we cancel an appointment, we will offer an alternative at the earliest available time.

4. Fees and Payment

Our consultation fees are available on request and will be confirmed at the time of booking. Fees are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed.

Payment is accepted via the methods listed on our booking confirmation. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to adjust our fees with reasonable notice. Existing bookings made prior to a fee change will be honoured at the original agreed rate.

5. Medical Information and Accuracy

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the health information on our website is accurate, up to date, and evidence based, we cannot guarantee its completeness or applicability to individual circumstances.

Health information changes rapidly. We recommend consulting directly with Dr. Ankrah or another qualified healthcare professional for advice specific to your situation.

Aya Health accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of general information published on this website.

6. Telehealth Terms

Where consultations are conducted via video or telephone, you accept that:

The quality of the consultation may be affected by your internet connection or device quality.

Telehealth consultations are subject to the same professional and ethical standards as in-person consultations.

You are responsible for ensuring a private, confidential environment for your telehealth consultation.

In an emergency, you should contact your local emergency services. Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies.

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and design, is the intellectual property of Aya Health or its licensors. All rights are reserved.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from this site for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. You may share content for personal, non-commercial purposes with appropriate attribution.

Our liability for any direct damages arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

All information shared during consultations is treated with strict medical confidentiality in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations and professional standards in Ghana and the United Kingdom.

We will not disclose your personal or medical information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law or where necessary to protect your vital interests or the safety of others.

10. Governing Law

For clients in Ghana, these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. For clients in the United Kingdom, these terms are governed by English law.

Any disputes arising from these terms or from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant country.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting an updated version on our website with a revised date.

Your continued use of our Site or services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
